These specialty stainless steel u-bolts were manufactured domestically at 60 pieces using plain 304 stainless steel material. The 1/2-13 thread was incorporated at 1-1/4 inches on both sides with the thread cut, as opposed to rolled. Unless the customer specifically requests rolled thread we typically always use the cut thread as the default option. The inside depth measured 3 inches and the inside width is 2-1/16″. A rush fee was paid by the customer to get the custom u-bolts completed within 2 days from order.

Large quantities of these custom made round stainless steel u-bolts would be best supplied on a 12 month blanket purchase order basis. The Blanket Order concept allows the customer to access the large quantity cost savings without paying upfront for the entire large quantity order. Instead we take on the burden of carrying the bulk inventory and only release the parts as needed, or often on a pre-scheduled basis provided by the customer.
